Experience
Punjabi Culture and Hospitality at its best! People in Punjab Villages entertain
themselves in a variety of ways. These include
games such as ‘Lattu fights’ (Tops), Guli Danda,
Kite Flying, Kokla Chappati, Pithu-Goal-Garam,
folk songs and dances, etc. These games of
Punjabi Villages are highly suitable for
children, youth, adult and old people alike.
Many of these games have been lost in the
evolution of history, and the ones that remain
must be cherished because only then the
remaining few will survive. Below is a list of
some village games that children can play when
visiting our Resort. |

Kite Flying (Patang
Bazi)
It is now very much an
urbanized game and is popular with the rural
folks as
well. It has now
assumed an International character.
Rasa Kashi (Tug of
War) Both men and women
participate in this game which is played by two
teams. A line is drawn between the two teams, each
having one end of the rope in its hands. The team,
which is able to drag the other team to its side,
is the winning team. This
is also a very
popular 'Team Building' activity.
